I (Denise) harvested a fair amount of daikon radish from the garden and I’ve been looking for things to do with it. If I switch out the corn starch for tapioca, I’m pretty sure I could make these Daikon Radish Cakes.  And they look yummy. 

I’d have to do a few substitutions on this recipe for Cranberry Orange Clafoutis but I think it might be worth a shot to try to make it gluten-free, and sub out the almond milk (allergic to almonds). Maybe for a Thanksgiving treat. I could probably even use apples.

This Cannellini bean soup is on my menu plan for this weekend because we have everything we need for it already in the house.

Also, here’s a quinoa tutorial. If you’ve ever had hard, crunchy quinoa, that’s not how it’s supposed to be — properly cooked quinoa is fluffy and quite good.
