So…we had a little unintended break because the holidays have been screwing with our ability to determine what day it is. Oops. We’ve got the Friday link post on a calendar now, so hopefully we won’t blow it again.
Because it’s winter and cold, cold and flu season is here. I often use a Neti-pot to help with nasal and sinus congestion. Here’s a saline rinse you can make with your own safe ingredients from the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology.
And because it’s cold, I start craving spicy soups and stews more than I usually do. (Yes, it’s possible.) So here’s a great recipe I found for homemade Mexican chorizo sausage to help out with that.
If you have sensitive skin, you are likely careful about what detergents you use. I recently picked up Mollie’s Suds at our local store, and so far, I really like it. The ingredients are really easy to comprehend, and I like the mint effect.
This red lentil coconut curry recipe was a recent dinner — it’s not hard, and it was really tasty. Possibly even better the next day, too. If you can eat coconut, give it a try.
Bonus recipe because you were cheated out of two weeks of our scintillating commentary: Vegan GF Sweet Potato Pie for the holidays, anyone?
Have a great weekend everyone!
