Lisa Klimas has a blog on Mast Cell Disorders, which I follow because there’s a lot of interesting intersections with food allergies, Ehlers-Danlos, and methylation defects (all of which I have). She summarized some scientific articles in post on the Effect of vitamin D on mast cells, which is fairly fascinating, and there’s some evidence that Vitamin D3 has an anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effect.
It’s been a long and weird and sad week, so I’m just going to share two of our own recipes in honor of someone else. I like to commemorate with food.
