Well, we’ve survived another week everyone. I’m (Denise) looking forward to springing forward and getting more daylight. In the meantime, add some sunshine with this Cuban Mojo sauce. It sounds like a wonderful marinade since there’s still citrus, and what’s better than citrus and garlic together?
It’s really hard to find corn safe vinegars in general. I was brewing my own red wine vinegar, having started a mother from Bragg’s ACV, but due to some pretty serious neglect on my part, it went into the compost heap. Since I’m brewing kombucha at home, I found this post on letting kombucha brew too long to make a kombucha vinegar. I’ve got one started now.
I (MK) am thinking that a giant pan of baked oatmeal might make breakfast easy for a week. It seems that most egg substitutes would work to replace the one in this recipe.
And if you don’t have any easy access to spices, apparently this online store has everything you’d need to start cooking Indian food or more.
