Turkey on Cutting Board
Thanksgiving is nearly upon us, and since I’ve (Denise) lost turkey as an option, I’m still determining whether I’m going to go with an attempt at goose (I have one to test in the freezer) or whether I’m going to do the anti-Thanksgiving and just get some lobsters. But I thought the picture was appropriate as the ghost of Thanksgiving past. If I try the goose, I may do something similar to this Mustard and Garlic Roast Goose, but obviously subbing out the unsafe ingredients for me.
This recipe for Mashed Rutabaga & Squash with Roasted Garlic also looks pretty good as an interesting side. I’d have to sub out the coconut milk, but my homemade cashew milk would do.
I am loving this simple, straightforward sweet potato recipe with beans and kale. I usually have most of this in the house.
And, um, potato cheese.
Have a great weekend everyone!
